2017 – Banking & Wealth Expo

BIOB in collaboration with Bankers Association Botswana organised the inaugural Banking and Wealth Expo from November 15-18, 2017 at Ditshupo Hall, Fairgrounds. The event which was officiated by Vice-President Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi, brought banks and companies within sectors such as Investment, Insurance, Micro-lending under one roof for them to showcase their products and services under the theme “Bridging the Inclusion Gap Through Financial Literacy”.

Exhibitions, presentations and panel discussions on financial topics constituted the program of the expo. The event which was endorsed by the Bank of Botswana, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, NBFIRA and UNDP was open to the public in order to equip Batswana with knowledge on financial matters.
